HOW DOES IT WORK
This LED lamp was specifically manufactured for sea fishing farms. It has a sophisticated and user friendly design, perfect for easy handling and easy set up in fish cages. It is fully equipped with state of the art LED chips, which has great benefits, such as reducing energy consumption and increasing luminous efficiency. It provides excellent light spreading in fish cages and higher units of power compared to other LED lamps in the market.
LED Chips
It has the most advanced Led Chip On Board (COB), with continuous power control technology. It is safe for the environment, since its manufacturing materials do not have any lead components and it is free of halide, according to RoHS certifications. It has a brand new high efficiency power current controller. It can save up to 50% on energy. According to the EC certification, it does not have an electric wave. It lights on instantly, with no flickering effect and it is available in three colours: white, green and blue.
The lamp has two ringbolts made of AISI 316 stainless steel, which are useful as attachment points.
The source cable is made of soft flexible copper, with a reticulated polyethylene insulation (XLPE) and coating, thermoplastic compound of Polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Available colours: black and orange. This cable is specially designed for maritime use. It has great flexibility, which makes it very easy to install.
The cable gland is made of AISI 316 stainless steel with a double compression and an Index Protection of 68.
It is manufactured with non-polluting materials, which provides safety during contact between the surface and the fish.
Its main function is to protect the electrical system of the luminary. It is also resistant to dents, UV rays and high temperatures. Its transparency offers an optimal light spreading, and it has a smooth and safe surface for fish.
The label has the following elements: the company logotype, serial number, index of protection, QR code, industrial protection, European Certification (EC), sign for electrical warning, lamp’s units of power, dimmer indicator and, lastly, colour signalling.
Heat removal is crucial when using high power LEDs through an efficient thermal administration. As the temperature of LEDs rises, the direct voltage and lumen output decrease. This does not only reduces brightness and LED efficiency, but also reduces its useful lifespan. Therefore, this cooling system is of vital importance.
This high efficiency light is used for optimal light spreading in the water column.
